Aubrey & Joshua | Sentimental Elopement in Amarillo, Texas

I got a call from Joshua on a Friday. He was planning to propose to his girlfriend Aubrey over the weekend, then surprise her with a wedding in the church her grandparents were married in the following Saturday. As I got to know him over the phone, I asked what sparked this plan, and he said he just knew this is what Aubrey would want. And he was right! Everything went according to plan, and the next weekend, the pair drove from Dallas to Amarillo to be married in the chapel of Polk Street United Methodist Church. The ceremony was short and sweet, attended only by a handful of family members. Afterward, I spent time photographing the newlyweds in Downtown Amarillo. They were lively, fun, and full of love.
